Sawyer's first art project!

Sawyer was really excited to have his Grammie come visit this weekend. He created his first art project for her birthday. Thank goodness for the employee at the Paint The Town or this handprint fish would have never happened! Grammie of course loved it.

They had a great four days together checking out all the new toys that Grammie brought for him. You would have thought it was his birthday weekend and not mine and my mom's.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

We spent St. Patrick's Day weekend in California with Katrina and her family. It was pouring down rain when we arrived and it made for a bumpy landing. Luckily Sawyer hasn't developed his mama's fear of flying yet. Even though the weather was terrible we had a wonderful weekend hanging with the Owens'. Sawyer and Tori played so well together. It was really adorable to watch them interact. I think Tori is definitely ready for her baby brother or sister to arrive in a couple of months. On Sunday we took Tori and Sawyer to the park once the sun made an appearance. It was super windy but I wanted to see if Sawyer would like to try a baby swing. He seemed to like it fine, but wasn't super impressed or excited by it.

Alright he's done it now! Sawyer stood up in his crib on Saturday when Ashley went in his room to say good morning. He seemed so proud of himself and gave Ashley big smiles as she ran in and out of the room playing "peek a boo". Of course that was only the beginning, the rest of the weekend he pulled himself up on anything within reach. I can see the many many head bumps and face plants that are sure to be in his future. I was just finally get used to the fact that he had mastered the art of crawling, and now this. Sigh...
